The presses were designed all around the world using the same CAD design software, and this consistency in the types and ideas of the software has a major benefit in the world trade of injection and blow presses. This benefit is the ability to use the product anywhere in the world, allowing technicians to understand the blueprint for assembly, disassembly and maintenance of the press.
The molds are often created either by independent mold tooling companies or by the tool rooms of the business. These molds are designed using CAD design software. This software is often used by both the tool rooms or tooling companies and the customer. This customer is often not the business that will use the mold, but rather that business’ customer. It is very important to use the same or compatible CAD software for easy sharing of the project in various stages. Both the press and the mold need to be tested for the proper flow of plastic and water. This testing can be done one of two ways. This simulator program will simulate the production of the product through the mold or press without wasting the materials of building the mold or press or wasting the plastic needed to run the test. If this test is successful, then a trial run can be set up, where with the other method, the simulation is the trial run and if there is a problem, most resources have already been used up.
In the production of silicon chips, or other types of computer hardware, CAD design software is used. This software assists in the laying of electrical current lines and other necessary articles of the chip production. This software can often detect an error in the designing of the chip. CAD design software is able to assist in the creation of a final product regardless of how bit that product is.
